How do the profiles work in my Netflix account?
With the profiles, individual members of your household can design their own Netflix environment according to their personal film and series taste. You can build up to five diverse profiles per Netflix account.

How can I set parental control for a profile?
On most devices, parental control can be set up for profiles. Under Manage Profiles, you can customize the parental controls for each profile. Keep the profile you want to edit and then decide the desired setting from the Allowed series and movies drop-down menu. How can I set how much data Netflix uses?

- Change data consumption settings
- Log in to Netflix.com.
- Select the profile for which you want to change the data consumption settings.
- Note: It is not possible to change the data consumption settings via a child profile.
- Select Account.
- Under My profile, select Playback Settings.
- Select the desired data consumption setting:
- Note: Restricting data consumption can affect video quality.
- Low (0.3 GB per hour and device)
- Medium (SD: 0.7 GB per hour and device)
- High (best picture quality: up to 3 GB per hour and device for HD and up to 7 GB per hour and device for Ultra HD)
- Automatic (automatically adjusts data usage based on your current Internet connection speed to deliver the highest quality streaming possible)
- Choose Save. The changes take effect within 8 hours.
The data usage settings only apply to the Netflix profile that was active at the time of the setting. That is, you can set different data consumption settings for each profile in your account. If you are bothered by the whole amount of data Netflix uses, you should alter this setting for each profile.
